If you are interested in learning alongside me this summer, I will be offering the following professional learning opportunities:
June 2014
- Connected through inquiry (CTI): A curious community of learners (Richland Academy, Richmond Hill, Ontario) *I am facilitating*
The CTInquiry network of educators comes together monthly to inquire about inquiry! New participants are welcome to join, and we will continue on in the Fall! This session will not focus on a specific reading, but rather will celebrate our school year.
July 2014
- For Teachers - Kindergarten Part 1, Part 2, and Specialist combined AQ course, York University (Major Mackenzie High School, Richmond Hill) *I am instructing*
- For D.E.C.E.'s - Kindergarten Course Certificate Part 1: Teaching Strategies, Part 2: Planning and Assessment, Part 3: Leadership combined course, York University (Major Mackenzie High School, Richmond Hill) *I am instructing*
August 2014
Please note that I am not sure that I will be teaching the Kindergarten AQ course this Fall with my PhD program commencing and my upcoming wedding in December. I will be making the decision in late August.
- For Teachers and D.E.C.E.'s - Environments that Support Learning Module, York University (St. Cecilia Catholic Elementary School, Maple) *I am instructing*

I would love to meet you!
Hi Joanne,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog and you have been such a great online mentor for so many of us making the transition to reggio-inspired classrooms and teaching. The learning with you summer sessions look fabulous. Is there any discussion about offering these, in some way, online?
Thanks again for sharing your journey with us.
Wendy
Hi Wendy!
DeleteThank you for following the blog! At this point everything I am offering is face-to-face. I am planning to create something online soon, so please stay tuned!
Hi Joanne,
ReplyDeleteWhat is a "combined" course? Does this mean you can do all three parts at once?
thanks,
Janet
Great question! It means that I will be instructing all three courses at the same time and differentiating with the assignments. When you complete the course you will gain the accreditation according to the part that you signed up for.
DeleteLoving the new look of your blog!

ReplyDeleteJoanne - I also love your blog and the inspiration that you provide. Any thought on putting together an online course so the rest of us may join in the fun. : )
