Making Thinking Visible
Hamilton Conservatory of the Arts
This exhibit was a wonderful celebration of documentation and early childhood! The artists and students did an excellent job in showcasing a wide variety of inquiries and learning opportunities.
We were also very fortunate to be in the presence of Lella Gandini, who is the North American liaison for Reggio Children.
In addition, Lella was Loris Malaguzzi's translator and she shared with us that "Malaguzzi would take children to the square to do school. He wanted to create a surprise and make people wonder about children." I loved this notion of making the learning known and visible to the community.
Thank for the gift of this special time together!
If you wish to visit the exhibit, it will remain open until June 2nd.
