York University offered me the opportunity to teach the Kindergarten Part 1 (face-to-face) AQ course for teachers this Fall. With the permission of my school's principal the sessions will occur in our school, and will therefore allow me to infuse what we do in our program by hosting weekly classroom visits. I'm so thrilled!
The information is now currently posted online and registration is open:
- We will offer the Kindergarten Part 1 AQ on Tuesday evenings and a few Saturdays (Oct. 5th, 26th, and Nov. 16th, 23rd)
- Bond Lake P.S. (our school) is located in Richmond Hill
- The dates are between the weeks of September 24th-December 10th
- D.E.C.E.'s are also welcome and can earn a certificate upon completion of the course
If you are interested in face-to-face professional learning about Kindergarten try to sign up early, as spaces fill up quickly!
