Goodbye to the 2011-2012 school year.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the students, families, and colleagues who made this school year an unforgettable one!

"Thank you for holding the ladder steady so that I could climb."
                                                                                             -SK Family

"________ had an amazing year-thank you for creating a very stimulating environment for him.  He has accomplished so much."
                                                                                                                     -JK Family

All of the educators within our classroom truly appreciated the time and care put into the thoughtful gifts, cards, and hand-made creations.  Above you will notice a bouquet with pencils to decorate its vase, and student drawn wrapping paper.

"I like your classroom decoration, your innovative method of teaching especially your blog which gives us lots of information on what happened in the classroom and most importantly, what they have learned in an enjoyable and positive environment.  I can tell from the blog that you are a passionate, enthusiastic, and patient teacher."
                                                                                                                 -SK Family

A "Gift of Hope" was presented to us for a child in another part of the world to receive the essentials necessary to make learning possible.

"Thank you for a great two years you have given ________.  She will, we are sure, always be impacted beautifully in her future love of learning."
                                                                                                            -SK Family

"Thank you so very much for your hard work with ___________ this year.  We have seen such growth and development with him.  He enjoyed coming to school each day.  You have cultivated a love of learning in him by allowing him to follow his interests and by continually challenging him.  We cannot thank you enough."
                                                                                                             -JK Family

A journal to fill with our dreams.

And heartfelt notes like these that made it even harder to say good-bye to this school year.

On behalf of my teaching team, I would like to wish all of the students and families within our classroom a happy and safe summer break!  Good luck to those students going into Grade One, moving, or attending French Immersion programs.  May your children continue to grow and flourish into all that they have the potential to be!  Please stay in touch and share with us your successes, wishes, and dreams.

Sincerely,

Ms. Babalis, Mrs. Ham, and Mrs. Mumma
