Connect with us!

I hope that you are having a wonderful Sunday afternoon!  Thank you for continuing to follow our blog.  We value our blog guests more than I can describe in words.

Collaborating this year has posed a few challenges with classroom visits placed on hold, however, we are fortunate to have many opportunities to connect online.  If you haven't made it back to our home site in a while, you'll notice the following changes:

  • "Educator Resources" page is being update weekly

  • Links to follow us on Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram

  • Preview of our latest videos on YouTube with the ability to subscribe

Please consider joining in on the professional dialogue by leaving us comments on the blog, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.  All ideas and questions are welcome...

Let's connect and learn from and with each other!

  1. Hi Joanne,

Love the blog! Your classroom learning environment is very inspiring! Both myself and my teaching partner are huge Reggio fans and try to incorporate as much as we can into our FDK classroom! We were wondering if it were possible to get in touch with you about planning a visit to inquire/observe your implementation of the inquiry based approach. Please advise the best way to connect and learn with you!

    1. Hello,

At the moment our classroom visits are on hold. I will let you know when and if things change and then provide you with the contact person at our board to schedule a visit.

Thank you for loving our blog!! I'm happy that you've found us! I'm a huge Reggio fan as well!

Please continue to connect and learn with us via social media...for now...

      Thank you,

      Joanne

  2. Hi Joanne,
I too would love to come into your classroom and view all the inquiry based learning the students are engaged in.
I am already booked into the 2013 Full Day Kindergarten conference on April 11-12.
If you are opening your doors I would be happy to get an email so I could book a day with you.
    Thanks
    Kim Clark

    1. Thank so much for your interest Kim!

If you want, you can contact Tanya Russell from our school board. She would have the most up to date information about class visits. Again, as I mentioned above, they are currently on hold.

Hopefully this changes before the end of the school year!

      Thank you,

      Joanne

P.S. You will love the training! Is it Ministry or YRDSB? What's the conference called?
